WHAT TO EXPECT

Expect a warm welcome! Our brothers want to get to know you, and you'll have the chance to interact both with them and with other prospective pledges. Don't be afraid to ask a question if you feel lost-- our brothers are easy to spot by their APO T-shirts. Our rush events, from speed dating to scavenger hunts,  incorporate leadership, friendship, and service, and there's room for everyone to shine!

Alpha Phi Omega strictly forbids hazing, and we welcome anyone to rush, regardless of sex, sexual orientation, race, religion or other fraternal affiliation. 

REQUIREMENTS

Before rushing, you must...

  • be a second-semester freshman or higher

  • have a minimum GPA of 2.0

​

During rush, you must...

  • attend 1 interest meeting

  • attend 2 rush events

  • attend 2 rush service projects

  • fill out the rush application, due at the end of rush

CLOSED RUSH AND INITIAL INTERVIEWS

Should you make it through the initial rush process, you will receive an invitation to Closed Rush, a semi-formal event where you have the chance to talk to more brothers. The final step is Initial Interviews, a brief set of interviews conducted by brothers.
